Zoe Saldana was born on the 19th of June, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican while her mother is Puerto Rican. Her mother is from Puerto Rico and her father was Dominican. The family she was raised with moved from Queens in New York, to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived in the Dominican Republic for 7 years. In the Dominican Republic, Zoe discovered a keen passion for performance dancing and enrolled in the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy in which she was taught ballet and different dance styles. It was an excellent way to exercise an active kid. But it proved to be also a fortunate precursor for the beginning of her career as a professional. At age 17, Zoe and her family relocated home to the United States where her love for dancing continued and her desire to perform in the theater grew stronger. Zoe's work in motion-picture films has been praised by from industry professionals like Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer. The actress also earned praise from the actors and actresses Tom Hanks. Bernie Mac. Kirsten Dunst. Ashton Kutcher. In the words of many of her co-stars, directors and producers there is no limit for this kid star with a wide range of talent as well as a fervent focus and the determination to stay involved with projects that challenge her professionally with a wide range of topics and personalities. Deutch along with writer Katie Silberman will then reunite for their second romantic comedies, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch has previously worked with Silberman for the Netflix hit Set It Up 2018.
